Bayo Ojo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria is a Partner in Bayo Ojo & Co, a leading firm of legal practitioners in Nigeria. He is a former Attorney General and Minister of Justice of Nigeria and a past President of the Nigerian Bar Association. He has acted as counsel, sole arbitrator, member of arbitral panels and Chairman in domestic and international arbitrations in the last thirty years. He is a past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria Branch, former member of ICSID Panel Washington DC, former member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration Hague and former member of the United Nations International Law Commission (ILC) in Geneva, Switzerland. He is currently the President of the African Users’ Council of the London Court of International Arbitration and member of the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London.
